Roof & Gutter Intelligent De-icing Cable
RGI Series with an intelligent temp & moisture switch ensure that the cable operates only when the snow might be present, it turns on when the temperature drops below 37°F (3°C) and humidity is above 60%RH and turns off when the temperature rises above 44°F (7°C) or humidity drops below 40%RH. Our cable is designed to be installed on inclined roofs with noncombustible tab shingles (such as asphalt shingles), metal or plastic gutters, downspouts, and/or valleys. It effectively melts ice and snow, providing a clear path for melted water to drain, and ultimately avoiding the formation of ice dams and icicles.
